Winners: 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards

The winners of the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this past Sunday by the US Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The names of the winners are listed below, it’s usually a good indication of whether you are watching the right series or not.. so peep the list below and check if your fave show is listed. 

  • Lead actor in a drama series: Damian Lewis as Nicholas Brody inHomeland
  • Lead actress in a drama series: Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison in Homeland
  • Lead actress in a comedy series: Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer in Veep
  • Lead actor in a comedy series: Jon Cryer as Alan Harper in Two and a Half Men
  • Lead actor in a miniseries or a movie: Kevin Costner as “Devil” Anse Hatfield in Hatfields & McCoys
  • Lead actress in a miniseries or a movie: Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin in Game Change
  • Supporting actress in a miniseries or a movie: Jessica Lange, as Constance Langdon in American Horror Story
  • Supporting actor in a miniseries or a movie: Tom Berenger as Jim Vance in Hatfields & McCoys
  • Supporting actor in a comedy series: Eric Stonestreet as Cameron Tucker in Modern Family
