Where Are The Feather Awards?
It feels like forever since the last time I watched an awards show. Do you remember when we last did? Well, if the organisers of the event keep their promises, we should have the Feather Awards again in November this year.
The Feather Awards were launched last year and the show was an intimate but successful one that kept us talking for days after. That’s where Lupi Ngcayisa revealed that secret about the size of his manhood , the awards where Julius was nominated for Drama Queen of the Year and do you remember how hilarious the the debates that followed were?
Well, seeing that I’m craving my fix of local awards shows, I thought we should look at last year’s winners of the Feather Awards and help the organisers to come up with nominees for this year’s show.

Having seen this list, which personalities should be nominated in 2010? We can stick to the categories mentioned above.

I like the concept, its very light, nominees don’t have to cringe during the drum-roll moment, catergories are just hilarious. Bt I don’t think the concept is sustainable, I mean, what happened to Dukuduku awards? Remember when Zandi Nhlapho used to scoop Smile of the Year, year-in year-out??

Ah yes. DIFF. Well if you follw me on twitter you would have seen my tweets about who I spotted, what they did, who’s blazer I liked, who was fat. Okay.
The movie was good shame. Not 5 star good, it had its faults, but it was good!
The movie, a State of Violence is about this guy, Bobedi aka Terror who is played by Fana Mokoena, who is a high flying mining business man who’s wife was murdered right in front of him at his upmarket Sandton home. He then wants to take the law into his hands, seek justice for the death of his wife but during the search he realises that it is related to the decisions he made in his past during the apartheid years of necklacing. The story is gritty, violent and shows that many people are still affected by what happened during the apartheid years, what they did in teh past coming back to haunt them.
Then it was the after party at Havana- Suncoast… DRUNK DRUNK DRUNK- Rapulana, Kenneth, Presley and their friends. Twas boring, so I left early. Its a week long festival so Ima tell more
